Let's take a look at a story about a Mary and Martha in the Gospel of Luke.

One day Jesus was visiting his friends Mary and Martha.  Mary enjoyed hearing Jesus teach. 

But Martha had a lot of work to do around the house, like cooking and cleaning.  She was sad that her sister, Mary, wasn't helping her.

Martha went to Jesus and said, "Don't you care that Mary has left me to do all the work?  Tell her to help me!"

Jesus said to Martha, "You're worried about many things.  But Mary understands what's most important.  She's made the right choice."
