Lions
Lions are very large animals that are related to cats. But they are much larger than your pet cat. Lions are found in Africa and India. Look at the two lions below. The male and female lions look different.

Lions are carnivorous. This means that they eat other animals when they are hungry.
Lions also make a very loud and scary sound known as a roar. Listen to the sound it makes:
