Finding Persia on the Map
Here is a map of the world. Find where you live on the map.

Now take a look at the area of the world where this story takes place.
Look back at the big map. Can you see what part of the world we are zoomed in on? This is where the empire of Persia existed back in the time of King Darius. King Darius divided his kingdom into lots of provinces. Each province was run by a satrap. Can you count how many provinces there were?
